Bernard Cornette de Saint Cyr, MD

Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery

Having completed his studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Paris, he passed the very elite entrance exam for a place as an intern at the hospitaux de Paris (Public Paris Hospital system). This is where he began his career in surgery. It was during this training that he developed a strong interest in the specialist field of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. He saw three reasons for this fascination: the surgical techniques which are very sophisticated and constantly improving, the knowledge of the deep psychology of the individual, and the highly artistic aspect to this branch of surgery
